I come from Hindupur, Anantapur dist,. Andhra Pradesh. I have 23 years of teaching experience. But never thought of getting an opportunity to teach American Kids. And this was made possible only by AGE. ...I never thought one small article in the news paper would bring me to this highest peak of success. Yes, I started my journey to America with an article of APNRT in the Eenadu newspaper. Andhra Pradesh Non Resident Telugu Society (APNRT) in association Acclaim Global Education Ltd made this fiction into realistic.
The process of selection started with an online test on 5th Dec 2018. The shortlisted candidates were called to the APNRT office at Amaravathi to give the written exam on 15th Dec 2018. And the results of written exam were announced on 29th Dec 2018 in which I was qualified and shortlisted for the next level. And further I underwent 6 levels of interviews with the HR team and the School Principals panel. It was really a happy moment whenever I received a mail stating that I have been shortlisted for the next round. This went enriching my enthusiasm to keep up my spirits high.
The process of recruiting was very transparent, and everything was made clear by the AGE team. There were no hard and fast rules to come across. I was feeling panic at the final round of interview with the panel of Texas schools’ Principals but Mr. Jilani, Operations Head, AGE boosted me and made my way easier to get through the final round and it was a really a proud moment for me to get shortlisted.
After all the documentation process, I also underwent many trainings to understand the teaching, classroom strategies and classroom behaviors. And these were conducted by AGE in association with APNRT at Vijayawada. And even Visa process was also carried out by the AGE team and I got my visa done at Hyderabad.
Finally, the most awaited day arrived to fly to America. September 14th 2019 was the day I, with my 15 other friends started our journey and reached US with many excited dreams. I felt very happy when I reached USA as all the arrangements of our accommodation were done to make our stay comfortable.
At this juncture I would really thank the key persons Mr. Ravi Shakamuri, CEO, AGE, who has always been a backbone to my success, Mr. Jilani, Operations Head AGE and his team Mr. Purnachandra Shekar, Mr. Raju and also all the crew members of APNRT who Supported and guided for my success. My thanks is also due to Ms. Santra Banda and Ms Nelly Jeminez who supported and guided us after reaching USA. I also thank my family for their co operation and support. Without all these people’s support my success would have been impossible. I can proudly say, we can surmount any hard situation if there is a standby of such team with us.

My sincere request to all the readers, please do not consider this as a commercial to promote any product or company. I myself stand as a testimony before you by being the beneficiary from the selfless services of the STAR TECH GROUP and ACCLAIM GLOBAL EDUCATION. ...Till the month of October 2019, I was working as a government teacher at an anonymous village, Tadimarri of Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh. Now I am a teacher in an American school and I am writing this from USA. It seems, all this good thing happened so suddenly in my case that I happened to turn my long cherished American dream into reality.
But after living for two months (well accommodated socially, professionally and securely) in America, I observed that, what all good happened to me is not a sudden thing. It is a story worth to be told. Thank you very much for continuing reading.
It was around 30 years ago one young man left his mother land, India and reached America to pursue his dreams. He came and worked hard all his youth and conquered and gained a permanent place in the hearts of the people here. It is that cake of good-will, that he has extended to his fellow countrymen and I am one of those fortunate teachers who got the lucky piece of cake that took 30 years of that great gentleman called Mr. Ravi Shakamuri who is the founder of the STAR TECH GROUP and ACCLAIM GLOBAL EDUCATORS.
Honestly, trust me it was not a commercial transaction between me and the above organizations. It will be a huge surprise that there was no money transacted between us till now. My selection was so transparent and lucid without any complex process. The Star Tech team worked very professionally with a mission, motivated by the altruistic instinct of Mr. Ravi Shakamuri.
It will be ungrateful on my part, if I fail to recognize the contribution of Mr. A K Jilani, who has shown his high level of patience from the initiation to the accomplishment of the recruitment task. He tackled our tentativeness by being very honest and frank. He successfully gained our confidence. He is a man of integrity. Mr.Purna and Mr.Nagaraju made all our documentation process simple and were available for me all the time during the whole process.
Eventually, as a teacher, I always felt that “No society can raise above the level of its teachers”… And there is no contradiction that ‘teaching’ is the most respected and most ancient and the very first profession on earth. I have been working as mathematics teacher for the last 26 years. I worked in various schools in India including the AP State Board, The CBSE and The ICSE. I also worked in The Republic of Maldives under the Ministry of Education. All these years I worked in different positions such as the HOD of Mathematics and also the coordinator for the Department of Mathematics....I also worked as the Principal of The Akshara Sri Smart School from 2006 to 2012. Later I discharged my duties as one of the main coordinators apart from being the HOD of Mathematics from 2012 to 2019 in The Future Kids School, Rajahmundry.
After seeing the advertisement in the local Newspaper on 27th Novemebr 2018, which was given by the APNRT in collaboration with the AGE and The Star Care Technologies of Odessa, Texas USA for the recruitment of teachers in the state of Texas, I myself applied for the position of High School Mathematics teacher. An online test and a written test followed by a series of interviews were conducted by the HR Manager, Mr. AK Jilani, the CEO of the Star Care Technologies Mr. Ravi Shakamuri, the International coordinator for teachers Ms Nelli Jimenez of ECISD of Texas. After conducting all these zoom video interviews, they conducted the Principals’ interview through which they selected us as teachers to work in Texas, USA. The entire process was done very transparently and systematically. Even after the selection of the teachers is over, the Acclaim Global Educational Pvt Ltd has been with us in every step of this journey and it has made the dreams of many Indian teachers to work in the USA come true through this recruitment. I feel proud that I am an Indian first. I completed my M.A, M.Phil, B.Ed, PG.DCE, Ph.D in English Literature, which of course is my favorite subject. I have been teaching since 2002 in various colleges in India. ... I had a deep rooted desire to work abroad and I tried too. But I couldn’t make it out until the STAR and AGE offered this great opportunity which served as a beacon of light to my desire of finding a job in USA.
The process of selection was honest which I really appreciate and there lies the real promise of hiring the right candidates for these appropriate positions in different schools. The entire team worked hard day and night and guided us through this process to find the rightful place.

As a part of my teaching tour around the world, I visited and worked in different countries like Maldives, Eritrea, Kenya...Yemen, Dubai, Egypt etc. Particularly in India, I worked as a PG lecturer in KGRL College, Bhimavaram West Godavari District, Sri Prakash Group of Educational Institutions and I was also a guest faculty of Andhra University, Adi Kavi Nannaya University and IGNOU New Delhi. Despite my varied experience and exposure in teaching English in different parts of the world, I have a dream. That is none other than Teaching English in USA. Here is an account of the way that my dream came true.
My journey to USA began in November, 2018 as there was a public advertisement in the local newspapers by APNRT. Initially, there was an online exam followed by a descriptive test that was evaluated by the officials from TEA(Texas Educational Authority).Thereafter, we had a set of interviews through Skype and Zoom. ... Something started as a dream, turned into a reality in the best possible environment.
